pickI'm not sure how much younger students would appreciate this book without more background. I'd want to share his work with them. They may enjoy gazing at the illustrations, but you'd have to satisfy them with his work. It's a great book about perseverance and grit though. #kidlit #everybodybooks

pickA thin biograhpy but jam-packed with rich vocabulary, illustrations, and STEAM concepts. For teachers & homeschoolers & sciencey parents, this book is an appealing way to introduce physics, engineering, and mechanics (and more that I can't think of at the moment). #dw2020reads #campreadalot2020

pickI love everything about this delightful & inspiring picture book about Rube Goldberg. The story of the man whose name is an adjective in the dictionary is fun & fascinating & sure to spark creativity in kids. Needless to say, I appreciate the shout out to cartoons & comics & their power to help us imagine the unlikely & even the impossible. Love this book & the encouragement to dream big & share ideas. And now I want to go build something!
