pickThis book is 4th published but 1st chronologically, which was interesting, and I was not disappointed! Shinn‘s writing is so transportive. She doesn‘t write fast paced stories, but her settings & her characters just effortlessly draw you in. I do think this series is a little formulaic, so if you read them back to back, that could be frustrating. But reading them spread out like I‘ve done I feel like I‘ve really been able to enjoy them all.
pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved this one - definitely my favorite of the series so far! In the first two books, you followed two protagonists as their lives moved & connected & relationships were formed. In this one, there were three characters you followed, which was a nice change and also made things slightly more unpredictable & that much more satisfying when it all came together. I will never stop recommending Shinn‘s work!
