Weston Graham is a chameleon. He has gone by many names, worn many faces, and assumed many personalities. These incarnations have enabled him to bilk wealthy women of their fortunes...and then to disappear along with the women, only to resurface with a new identity and his sights set on another victim. FBI Special Agent Drex Easton's mother was the first of eight known victims, whom Drex believes all died at their seducer's hand, although none of their bodies has ever been discovered. Drex has made it his mission in life to bring this serial predator to justice. The book opens with Drex learning of a likely suspect, a man living in suburbia with a new guise and a new alias: Jasper Ford. His probably next target is Talia Shafer, a successful businesswoman who made a fortune in the travel industry. She is also Jasper Ford's much younger wife. In order to get close to the couple and ascertain if Jasper Ford is, in fact, Weston Graham, Drex must assume a false identity of his own and moves in next door to the couple. His goal is fixed on Jasper; his eyes are fixed on Talia. In a high stakes game of wits, Jasper and Drex play each other, each trying to outfox the other. It's a game which Drex must win before Jasper eludes him yet again...and Talia becomes victim number nine. Praise for Sandra Brown 'Suspense that has teeth' Stephen King 'Lust, jealousy, and murder suffuse Brown's crisp thriller' Publishers Weekly 'An edge-of-the-seat thriller that's full of twists . . . Top stuff!' Star

Sandra Brown is my go-to author! I‘ve loved all of her novels, but this one is probably my fave. I wasn‘t sure in the beginning, but the twists and turns, tension, and build up were outstanding. Brown is a master of the suspense thriller genre, and she continues to thrill with Outfox. Also, trying to keep up with Drex and his mind, made me absolutely exhausted. 😂

Trying something different with my book log! Separating by month to see which parts of the year I read the most! Read some great ones so far, with the tagged book being just finished. Review to come once I absorb all the feels.

CoverToCoverGirl I really liked 4y
CoverToCoverGirl I thought it was clever in many ways and quite intense in several places, especially when they were hiding... can‘t wait for her next book. She is an auto read for me. I love that all her books are stand alone. I really appreciate that she‘s one of the very few authors that doesn‘t write a series. 4y
StellaDz @CoverToCoverGirl I love Brown. I usually read her right when I buy her book (which is always right around release day), but I fell behind this time! I really enjoyed this one; the many twists and just the crazy premise were probably my fave so far! 4y

Sandra Brown is a great storyteller. Her books keep you interested without lags and drags. This one did not disappoint. I thought the storyline was great and even liked the unexpected twist near the end. However, there were several typos that distracted me while I was reading. And, while her books always have a steamy romance in them I thought this one seemed to be a little more explicit than others. But a good solid pick for me!

This is the best Sandra Brown book I've read since "The Crush". Jasper Ford is one of the most intriguing villians I've read about in a long time. Brown does not allow the story's plot to overshadow the romance between the hero and heroine, which makes it a perfect romantic suspense. "Outfox" is definitely worth the Kindle hardback price and I am proud that is a part of my collection. ?
