What are you reading this autumn Sunday?
My October TBR!
🧡 The Girl Who Could See is a novella sent to me by the sweet author.
💛 The Woman in the Lake - my second try at a Nicole Cornick novel. But I've heard great things about this one.
❤️ The Beholder - YA historical fantasy by a debut author.
🤎 Gemini - the one I am least likely to finish. Enjoyed the creative format of the first book, but will the novelty wear off? 🤔
Reading slumps are the worst! And I've been in one for months. 🤯 I start books, but they don't hold my attention. So I decided to try something light and entertaining on audio. So far, I'm enjoying this one.
Other suggestions are welcome. 🙂
Only on chapter 2, but I find this book absolutely fascinating! And the narrator is phenomenal.
Got this one from the library. ☠️ The first line is intriguing, but not sure I'm in the mood for horror. 🤔 Has anyone read it?
On page 225 and I'm vastly grateful this book is over 800 pages. This series just keeps getting better and better! 🍎💗
I have mixed feelings about this book. The prose are flawless. The location of Montenegro unique and intriguing. But for me, the plot fell apart a little over halfway through, and the gorgeous prose began to bog down the pace. I skimmed the last 4th of the story just to find out what happened, but the end seemed to come out of nowhere. I won't be picking up the sequel. 🙈
Sorry I've been away from Litsy! I had to take a break to focus on writing but I'm back to reading and looking forward to diving back into this community that I love! ♥️📚
🔊 Question: What's one of your favorite audiobooks?
Hands down, mine is Salt to the Sea. The four narrators brought the story to life for me and I believe I enjoyed it even more on audio than I would have if I read it in book form! A rare occurrence for me.
So many books, so little time! ⏳I can't stop looking at this image! (I didn't create it, but would love to give credit to who did if anyone knows!) Today, I'm digging into the hefty Dark Days Deceit.
📚 Are you reading anything good this weekend?
Really enjoying this time-slip ghost story so far! The writing hooked me from the first page. 🤓
Current audiobook. I'm way late to the party...or circus! 🎪😄 The prose are gorgeous and so far, I'm intrigued.
When do you listen to audiobooks? I love to listen in the car or while doing housework.
Hey Littens! If you're into interactive story apps, my first book, DOON was just released by Chapters!!! 🤩 If you aren't aware (I wasn't) there are apps where you play stories like a choose your own adventure book. The plots are super simplified, but it can be really fun...like gaming for book nerds!!! 🤓
The app is free for your smart device:

Caraval was my favorite read of 2018. Diving into the sequel and hoping it is just as good! ♠️
❇️ What was your favorite read this year???
Starting this festive story tonight. I've never read this author before, but Christmas on a Scottish island...I'm all in! 🎄📚🥰
Just because this is so cute! 🍄🍄🍄 Happy reading, all!
Only a few chapters in, but I'm already hooked! ✨ The voice is immediately relatable, the writing is strong and clear, and the plot is masterful. ✨ Can totally see why it's an international best seller!
My current read is breaking my heart. An upcoming YA about an Italian-American girl who falls in love with the son of Japanese immigrants during WWII. The Japanese Internment camp scenes are hard to read, but an important part of our history that is timely today.
Finally cracking open this beauty! 🤩 It's one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I would've read it the moment it came out, but it's been a crazy summer. Now I just need to resist the imposter syndrome I get when reading this author's gorgeous writing!!
I think I need one of these! 😁🤩 Happy weekend reading everyone! 🍃
Love a good historical mystery! Starting this beauty today...♥️🕵️ #historicalmystery
Littens! My novel, Olivia Twist, is on audio!! 🎧🎉 Read by the talented Pearl Hewitt who also narrated The Secret Garden and many more historical fiction novels. It's available on #Audible and Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Olivia-Twist-Lorie-Langdon/dp/1974922162/ref=tmm_abk_swat...
🌂No need to read the original first. I've set this story up as a stand alone. 🎩
1. Adian Turner! I'm on the second season of Poldark and I'm obsessed!
2. Yes, but I prefer to have the windows open weather permitting.
3. Reading or watching TV with my hubby
4. Heights and spiders 🕷️
5. Yes! They're like movies. The first book I wrote was based on a dream. 🤩
@MinDea
This series is incredible! Shadowcaster is compelling and original. Over 500 pages that I could not put down! Cinda remains one of my favorite fantasy authors. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been meaning to read this for years... enjoying it so far!
This book... it's so compelling it's disrupting my life! Send help! I need to get my own work done!! 😱
YA library finds! 😍 I've heard The Wicked Deep is a sort of Hocus Pocus retelling...my favorite Halloween movie of all time!
📚 Have you read any of these? Which one should I read first?
Guys! I finally have an audiobook!!! 🎧🎉 And the narrator did an amazing job!! GILT HOLLOW is a suspenseful whodunnit with a bit of swoony romance! You can find it on Amazon and Audible. 😁

Happy Sunday, Littens! 📚♥️😊 Hope it's filled with beautiful stories...created or read.
I received this book as a gift. I wasn't sure why someone would buy me a children's book until I read it through tears. If I had written a picture book, this would be it! So simple, yet it's truth and inspiration resonates deep with those of us chasing a dream. Instant classic!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's release day, Littens! 🎩💙🎉 When I found the book at my local Target today I had a hard time leaving it there! Is that weird? 🤗 #authorproblems
I love this series, but this is the first book in the series that I've listened to and the narrator's accent is kind of jarring. Kinda wishing I had the actual book. 🙄
Littens! I got to see the OLIVIA TWIST hardcover for the first time at the American Library Association conference last week and I had to share! 😁 Isn't it glorious!?
And it smells divine...which I think this community will understand more than most. 😉😘
Here's my deliberately small book haul from ALA Midwinter! I had to be choosy since I had a very small suitcase. So I got a couple of ARCs and a lovely hardcover mystery. The Wonder Woman reading tote might be my favorite tho! 💫🗡️♥️
Having trouble getting into this. I know this is a beloved series right now and I really loved the last book, so hoping it gets better soon. 🤓
Littens! I had the honor of reading an ARC of Fawkes! Bottom line: I loved it!!! Here's my endorsement: "Fawkes is a tale full of spiritual depth, tragedy, and hope. A beautifully written allegory for the magic of faith, with an achingly relatable hero who pulls you into his world heart and soul. A must-read for all fantasy fans!" –Lorie Langdon, author of OLIVIA TWIST
1. Tiramisu
2. ANNE WITH AN E - Such a brilliant book adaptation!
3. Zenith - I really wanted to like it, but couldn't finish it. Now it's a NY Times best seller. 🙄
4. Only a few months, but love it!! ♥️
5. Waves to new Littens!
This book starts a wee bit slow, but I love Raybourn's voice so much that I kept reading and I'm SO glad that I did! The characters, the mystery, the historical world building are all fantastic! Will likely be one of my favorite books of the year. I can't wait to read the next installment! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Happy weekend, Littens! I've been so busy I haven't had much time to read lately. Hoping to have reading time this weekend!
How about you? Reading anything good?
New cozy reading chair! ♥️📚💛 Happy early birthday to me! 😊
My weekend read. Loving it so far! 💕
