1. This is the back of my beloved Kobo, decorated with stickers from #LitsyLove friends!

2. I love being able to load it up before a trip, it's got an internal reading light so I can read in bed without disturbing the hubby, and it's so easy to borrow titles from the library! That last one saved me during the first lockdown when we couldn't borrow physical books!

rockpools Love the stickers, too 😊. I *may* just have been scrolling this hashtag to get Kobo thoughts... Can you download directly from Libby then? Can I ask what version Kobo you have? At some point I‘m going to need to invest! 3y

TheKidUpstairs @rockpools I have a Kobo Clara HD, it's a couple years old and was the basic reader they had at the time. I love it, super simple to use. It connects directly to OverDrive so I can borrow right from the device (I do find it can be a bit of a pain, just because typing on it takes a while and it can take awhile searching, so I usually just borrow via my library website, and my Kobo is connected to my account so anything I borrow automatically 👇 3y

TheKidUpstairs @rockpools ... shows on my device. If I do search for a book on the device, it will show me if I own it (I've been guilty of almost double buying 🤣), how much it would cost to buy, and if it's available to me on OverDrive, then I can choose to buy or borrow. If you have any questions, let me know! I've had Kobos for years and I love them! 3y

rockpools @TheKidUpstairs Thanks so much - that‘s brilliant. Apart from relying less on Amazon, in the UK we can‘t get library books on kindle, so I‘ve been eyeing kobo for years. I got a second hand one a few years back, but I think it was already at the end of it‘s shelf-life. It might be time to invest properly! 3y
