Had a great beginning, very Oliver Twist. Then as the story progressed it was boring.

I really enjoyed this book. I love Coin. I loved who she was at the beginning and I loved who she is at the ending, especially. She's still herself but she's the best version of herself.

I liked this one, but it lacked a little luster. The premise was good & interesting, but the plot & narrative just didn't pack the punch I needed. There was obvious creativity to the plot & some good entertainment factor. It could have benefitted from more complex characters & I certainly could have used more backstory, including a better explanation of the caste system. Regardless, this was a good read and a respectable freshman novel.
I have to say, I‘ve been really lucky with the ARCs I‘ve been reading, lately. The last two were both four stars and this one is on track to be, as well! I do love a book with good political intrigue.
Omg this was so good!!! I would love a follow up@to this one ASAP!! But this one doesn‘t even come out until the 7th and the author is already working on a new book not connected to this one. But man it was amazing!! Must Read!!!
Rating: 4/5 Stars
A fast, engaging, fun read about a world built with a caste system where there is a lot of people who do not have names-Nameless. With the King on his deathbed, he says his heir, who is impossibly Nameless and has no rights. What will she do?
Pick it up-you won‘t regret it!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this book and how much I enjoyed it! I loved that there wasn‘t too much teenage angst! I also loved that they got over their hurt feelings pretty quickly like adults and worked to get stuff done. Also glad that it ended on a happy note, but slightly open ended in case it‘ll be a series :)
