LT's Theory of Pets

so-so

One King short story for #AuthorAMonth, the audiobook is a recording of a live reading by the author...so it‘s good and mostly funny, of course King being King it takes a dark swerve at the end before it‘s all over. So enjoyable listen, not his best work though. I wanted a bit more for the ending.

LT's Theory of Pets | Stephen King

Shortest book - this is tough. GR has many marked 1 page. LT‘s Theory of Pets is one of those books. Maybe because it‘s in audiobook format.
Longest book - IT by SK
Oldest book - The Code of Hammurabi circa 1760 BC
Newest book - Paper Girls volume 6 - Sept 25 2019

wanderinglynn I saw on my GR that a lot of the audiobooks (when I selected the audiobook edition) are marked as 0 or 1 page, which made me laugh. 4y

jb72 @wanderinglynn Yeah I mean it‘s still being read so idk why they don‘t count the pages. Although that SK book I‘ve only found in audiobook format. 4y

ljuliel There was a big kerfuffle about audiobooks in there a few years back because they weren‘t being put in at all, or put in improperly. Page wise , probably a lot of them are still messed up. I don‘t frequent them much anymore, so I don‘t know if they‘ve resolved it or not. 4y

jb72 @ljuliel Whenever I listen to an audiobook and I mark it as read in GR I always go with whatever paper version is available. Unless it is a specific audiobook that I want to remember or mention to friends. I always like to see how many pages I read at the end of the year so in my opinion audiobooks should have page count too. 4y

ljuliel I agree @jb72 . They actually take me longer to complete than reading the print version. I don‘t know if you listen to this podcast or not, but this week, -What Should I Read Next - focused on audiobooks. It was quite a good listen ! I think ANY way a person chooses to read counts. As long as they read, it‘s good. 4y

ljuliel It‘s a pretty good one. I try to listen to it every week. I like that she covers a wide range of readers and subjects. @jb72 4y
