Dead Right
Dead Right | Peter Robinson
4 posts | 6 read | 1 to read
The broken body of Jason Fox has been found in a dirty alleyway. At first it looks like a typical after-hours pub fight gone wrong. But Inspector Alan Banks soon realizes that the truth is rarely so straightforward . . . Jason was a member of the Albion League, a white power organization. And there are many people who might have wished him dead: the Pakistani youths he had insulted in the pub that evening; the shady friends of his business partner; or someone within the Albion League itself. And just as Banks begins to get a grip on the case, an unexpected discovery forces him to reconsider everything he believes . . .

I thoroughly enjoyed getting back to reading about Alan Banks. This time around he‘s having many big problems in his life, but that won‘t stop him from solving a crime, which has actually been “solved” already. A young man has been killed, but who did it and why? The story is not as straight forward as it might seem and eventually everything from white supremacy and drugs are part of the problem - and solution. Highly recommended!

Tove_Reads So happy I decided not to continue reading the series by jumping over this book in the series, since I couldn‘t get hold of it. The story is vital, if one is interested in Banks and his life. Would have missed out on a lot by skipping this book. 5y
