5. An overwrought imagination & the Murderers' Den of the waxworks are not a good combination
6. That portrait of the evil-looking man with the creepy eyes? Don't buy it

Michael_Gee @Bookwomble Omg I knew it! I read that a couple months ago in the Dracula‘s Guest collection. That story is bananas. How messed up is that honeymooning couple? The fact that their takeaway is “it‘s great to have a third wheel on your honeymoon!” when the outcome of that is so gruesome is insane. Also, how cartoonish is Stoker‘s rendering of American speech?! That story was wild. 4y
