I‘m only 50 pages in but I like the tone of the story telling. Something tells me there is a lot more depth to this story than the opening pages reveal. It‘s like a sense of dread. I‘m here for it😄

pickSuch a great read...romance, religion, broken trust. It's a dark and violent story that takes place in the 40's. I enjoyed Goolrick's book The Reliable Wife and this one did not disappoint.
