Read a few of the later books but never the beginning of the Grant County series. Really enjoyed the puzzle in this one. I like Sara Linton a lot. She is fierce and vulnerable, easy to relate too. The story has some very gruesome details.

Loved it. Great way to find out more on the history of Georgia in the 20th century. The family is very interesting with a lot of intrigue and bad luck despite their priviliged position. Have been doing a lot of internet searches while reading this. And the cover is just to pretty #coverlove

Great puzzle. Enjoyed the female character power and the fact she was not giving in to man turning her down. Did not enjoy the romantic developments in this book. Felt sudden and forced.

Really enjoyed this read. There is an interesting puzzle to solve. Lots of psychological intrigue going on. The characters are interesting. In the middle the story slows down a bit but the end is exciting again.

Enjoyed the read. There is a lot of anger in this book and I had a hard time keeping up with Sunday Night. Her choices were not always well motivated but charged by things from the past. It was easy to cheer for her though. There is a lot of religious extremism in the book but not well explained. There are some interlude chapters of a young girl being held I did not like them much. Gripping writing style with a lot of excitement.

There was an Amnesty International book market today. I decided to complete my own Karin Slaugther collection. I used to loan them at the library but as I love them so much it was time to get my own copies. Found a few other nice books too. #bookhaul #allthebooks #series #dutch #charity

I think I got a crush on Locke. He seems to be great fun to be around though you are at risk of being beaten or stabbed. Had a bit more trouble with the fantasy world in the beginning but saw someone mentioning Venice and that does fit.
There are some really gripping scenes in the book. There are some interlude chapters which did not always work for me.
