I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would.

Decided I needed to pick up something different for a little while. I have had this book on my shelf for a year or so now and after putting on my mermaid tail socks this morning it kind of just spoke to me. I think the 3rd book comes out soon so if I enjoy it I will have to find a way to get my hands on books 2 & 3. We shall see.

After errors are fixed, I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. This book is really great I can't stress that enough. If you like Paranormal Romance, fantasy, or mermaids you will love this book!

I won't belabor this super clever #WriteAwayJune photo challenge by posting all month, but today's prompt is just too fun. I was asked to put a character through the #meyersbriggs and found the exercise works just as well for sirens as humans. Who knew? Anyway, my hero in Updrift, Gabe, came back as an ESTJ.

Though I‘m not usually a fan of paranormal romance, this was a pleasant surprise! Not since The Little Mermaid has a siren story captivated me. And the lovely thing is it was written by our very own Errin Stevens! @Updrifting1

I received a copy for an audiobook tour. This one was more romance than mermaid (siren) story, but I did enjoy it. Kate and Gabe have a beautiful bond from the beginning, and the surprise twist, while predictable, only served to show how strong their bond is.

Kate Sweeting has a horrible future ahead of her after her father suddenly dies... that is until her mother, Cara, decides they need to start over. That in starting over they will find a better path. So they move to the coast. Kate's life turns around as she grows up in a community focused on the coast.

Gabe Blake befriends Kate while she still a child, and they grow up together.

I went with Spearcraft's Pirates and Mermaids box; I opted for the no book box but the boxes had two books so I received "Updrift" by Errin Stevens; a mermaid book... hope it's great, I've never read a mermaid book without pirates!
