Mehso-so

The 7th book in the Undead series (#SeriesLove2025) was a major shift in the series. This was darker than the previous entries. I am giving it a so-so because it wasn‘t what I was expecting. I will read the next book and see if I want to finish the series.

TheSpineView Great job! 🤩📖 2d

Not a fav in the series but a fun read as always.

Note the difference in the books between pictured and tagged. Tagged a previous book because even though I added all the info to Litsy for the new title, it will not register for me. The Litsy interface reign of terror continues to haunt my being.

3.75/5 ⭐️ (closer to good than so-so)

I started this series on audio but couldn‘t take the narrators. This first book leads right into the second so I bought it on kindle and enjoyed the writing much more (plus it made skipping the sexy time easier…call me a prude).

Fast paced, great characters, good story. Good escape reading.

This husband and wife team is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. One series had space chickens, and now this one has a ferret heist.

ravenlee The ferret heist is one of my favorite scenes in this series! I liked the raccoon companion in the first book, too, however briefly mentioned. 1w
wanderinglynn I love everything Ilona Andrews has written. 1w
Sace @ravenlee the one that took a juice cup upstairs? YES! 1w

Sace @wanderinglynn So far so have I! I‘ve mainly been going the audio route because my library has them, but I might have to consider purchasing physical copies. 1w
ravenlee @wanderinglynn @Sace the only series I haven‘t loved was the Edge, and I only read the first one. All the others are favorites, and I‘ve been enjoying the Graphic Audio versions if the Kate Daniels books on my current reread. Highly recommend! When that‘s finished I‘m going to try Innkeeper from GA. 🤞🏻 7d
Sace @ravenlee I listened to the graphic audio the Innkeeper Chronicles. I agree that Graphic audios are great. 7d

This was a really cute fantasy romance with some spicy scenes. I loved the setting (I‘ve always been a fan of Scotland and the Loch Ness monster.) The backstory added depth and believability as well. I‘d be curious to see what fans of Ali Hazelwood‘s Bride think, because I think the monster sex scenes in this book are much better (IYKYK).

I‘ve read all the books in the Inkeeper Chronicles. I don‘t know when the next book will be out 😭. Until then I‘m moving on to this series.

5feet.of.fury I LOVE this series 3w
Sace @5feet.of.fury I‘m enjoying this so far. I am becoming a big fan of the husband/wife writing team! 3w
5feet.of.fury @Sace I haven‘t read Innkeeper Chronicles but it‘s on my list & I have the first book but I enjoyed this series and Kate Daniels. 3w
Sace @5feet.of.fury I listened to the full cast audio for the Inkeeper Chronicles and it was amazing! I highly recommend those audios. I‘ve got the Kate Daniels series on my perpetual TBR too. 3w
