pickTUMBLEWEEDS by Leila Meacham is a novel filled with a star-crossed love, unlikely friendship, and a little mystery. Just like Meacham's other family sagas it is intense with twists on-top of twists, and young characters who seem to make a wreck of things. The book was a pleasure to read, devouring the 470 pages late into the night. A must read.
pickThis one reads like a good soap opera. West Texas setting with a star QB, his best friend who becomes a priest, and a girl that they both care for. Secrets are everywhere. Good read.

pickLoved the flow of Leila Meacham's writing in this novel. The way she writes her characters is perfect. Never wanted to put it down!
When you go to the bookstore to get a birthday gift for a friend and hit the $5 and under sale rack. Um, pic was in the back of the car on the way to said friend's birthday lunch. Never let it be said that I'm not a champion procrastinator.
