1 post | 1 read
Everything youve been taught about relationships is wrong. The movies and TV make it look easy. Matchmaking Web sites have it down to a science. Two people connectlove at first sightand the relationship is magical from then on. But the truth is, strong, deep relationships that last a lifetime arent based on the mysterious chemistry of two personalities. Real love in relationshipsfriends, married couples, siblings, parentsisnt a magic act. Its a journey. A great relationship grows from an investment of time and effort. Kerry and Chris Shook know that deep relationships arent built on initial attractions, but on last thingsthe experience you shared the last time you were with someone . . . the words you spoke with her last week . . . the effort you made for him the last time you were together. By learning to be present in the moment, acting intentionally, risking awkwardness, and learning to let go, youll discover wisdom from the Bible that contradicts what popular culture would have you believe. Meaningful relationships depend on seeing other people as they are, so that the last time your eyes meet on this earth, your relationship will be closer and deeper than ever before. #BFC #wk1 It‘s Thurs in Oz & I don‘t think there will be anymore exercise to be done tonight so am updating you now @wanderinglynn I‘m happy with my alcohol intake this wk. Only 1 blowout in the first week is pretty good me thinks. I didn‘t have any added sugar. I stretched for 2 hrs. I commented on the posts of others 18 xs. No books finished this wk but have started an audio and a hard copy. I posted about the #BFC x2. I have a total of 42 pts.

LapReader I didn‘t get to pilates this week. I tried but my class was booked out so I have now booked a few weeks in advance so that doesn‘t happen again. I read books while stretching and audiobooks while walking everywhere as I don‘t have a car or license. I also went on an extra 30 minute walk above what I usually would do. Picture taken of the obelisk at sunset tonight up the hill from my place while I was out walking. (edited) 6y
