I haven't been on Litsy much since I found out that my beloved boss had resigned. The rest of last week and this week has been an emotional roller coaster. I had expected Daniel's last day to been full of nothing but tears. The good news, however, is that my company is taking steps to improve the culture. I'm hopeful.

Friday, Daniel gave me this beautiful bracelet with a friendship charm. Even in leaving, I am blessed. We'll always be friends.

ValerieAndBooks That is so sweet 💖, thinking positive thoughts your way regarding your work situation. 7y
LitHousewife @ValerieAndBooks Isn't it??? I'm so glad I've gotten myself to a place where I can be less emotional and more objective. 7y

moranadatter That's hard; I'm right there with you. My boss is leaving in July. I'm happy for her and sad for us. I hope her successor is good. 7y

auntie_jenn silver linings! 7y
Reviewsbylola That's difficult. I still haven't fully recovered from leaving my last job in 2013. The people and the atmosphere just made it such an amazing place. I love my current job and I have an amazing boss but it's so different. 7y
LitHousewife @Booksandcooks Me, too. I'm going to keep myself hopeful that tomorrow will be a good day and I'll be happy with the new normal. 7y
LitHousewife @moranadatter I wish good bosses could stay forever, but it also gives us the opportunity to shine in a new way, too. 7y
LitHousewife @Reviewsbylola That was what I was so worried about - having no choice but to leave a company I love. I'm sure there are equally wonderful positions and bosses, but the people I've worked with for the past 17 years are like my family. 7y
