I know not everyone is going to have the same reaction to traumas, but did the reactions just not ring true for anyone else? There were also a couple of anatomical references that, I don‘t know. I was just taken out of the story bc I thought, “You really should have gone and asked Tabitha a question about how girls pee.” 🤷🏻♀️
I really had to think through if there had ever been a time I #sawthemoviefirst I have been a Constant Reader since Carrie was published. However, I then remembered that I saw Big Driver before I read Full Dark, No Stars. Loved the book and the movie. #stephenking17
#stephenking17 Day 6 I like a number of the women in SK's books, but I'm going to with Tess from Big Driver, one of the stories in Full Dark, No Stars. She survives a horrible experience, but gets revenge. (I don't advocate revenge, just like it in a story. ☺️) #favfemalecharacter
Also, I forgot this was a movie on Lifetime so now I'm going to look for that.
pickI listened to this on Audible. Read by Jessica Hecht, with the main character a woman, it's almost hard to believe a man had anything to do with this story. It's that convincing. Just another little gem by the Master for his Constant Readers.
