Return to the Hundred Acre Wood
Return to the Hundred Acre Wood | David Benedictus
5 posts | 10 read | 2 to read
Visit our all-new Pooh website! It was eighty years ago, on the publication of The House at Pooh Corner, when Christopher Robin said good-bye to Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. Now they are all back in new adventures, for the first time approved by the Trustees of the Pooh Properties. This is a companion volume that truly captures the style of A. A. Milne-a worthy sequel to The House at Pooh Corner and Winnie-the-Pooh. Listen to award-winning narrator Jim Dale reading the Exposition to Return to the Hundred Acre Wood. Also available from Penguin Audio. From the Hardcover edition.

Pickpick

Very much in the style of A.A. Milne and E. H. Shepard. I loved it. Lifted me up. Would be great to read aloud.
Often these sorts of books not so good. I thought this one very good. I read it in one sitting.

Still a child at heart ❤️ I have picked up David Benedictus' sequel to the amazing work of A. A. Milne. They have recently (ish) come out in new editions for the 90th anniversary of Winnie-the-Pooh and I plan on collecting the whole set! AND they are filled with the lovely illustrations of Mark Burgess, which are inspired and are in close keeping with those of E. H. Shepard in the original tales!🐝🍯🐻 #AAMilne #Pooh #Piglet #Eeyore #Tigger #Honey
