This is a perfect morning... Now how will I turn the page? This book has me hooked so far!
This book is about FRIENDSHIP and WARTIME. Told from the diary entries of two best friends, this story records the happenings after a plane crash-lands in the middle of Nazi-occupied France. Yes, both the buds were on the plane. No, they aren't okay.
#booktober Day Thirteen: #bestsidekick !! So I don't rank this book as highly as its forefathers, but CAN WE TALK ABOUT SCORPIUS?!?!? AHHHHH he's so adorable and such a lovable little nerd!!! Urgh. I want to read the book again just to hear his voice!
Comment if you agree or don't agree... Do you have any favorite quotes from this book?
Day Twelve of #booktober : #longtitle !! Although this title only has four words, it is the longest on my shelf. The only exceptions were its sequels, and I just wanted a picture of the mama book. This book isn't very well-known, but it's in my series top five. I recommend it for the readers of realistic fiction who like adventurous and awesome kids (uh, who doesn't?) !
Okay, so it's not a ~real~ memoir. Bear with me. I don't own any others. This is my #booktober Day Eleven photo: #memorablememoirs !! I highly recommend this book for fans of realistic fiction dealing with the brain.
#booktober Day Ten: #outofthisworld !! For my challenge post today, I present to you: "The Forgetting" and "Gemina," my two literally-out-of-this-world books on the shelf. TF wasn't as exciting as I had anticipated, and Gemina is on my TBR - results will come!
#booktober Day Nine: my #firsteverlitsypost !! I posted a review and "pick" of "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell. That was three months ago, but then I wasn't active for two months. This brings my Litsy post to a grand total of... *drumroll* nine! ?
AHH! This is the first real fantasy meet-a-whole-new-world book that I've read for such a long time and it was AMAZING! It's action-packed and there's a lot of tension and teamwork between the characters. There's also hints of romance, but not enough to be annoying if you're not ~into~ romance (like me). There's a very diverse cast and they each have wonderful personalities. Pick it! This book had me on a binge!
Day eight of #booktober! Here I have my #diversereads , which may or may not include one of the best animal stories of all time (Pooh Bear is a person too!!).
Hey! I haven't been a part of #booktober yet, so I decided to jump right in on Day Six! Today's challenge was "full of adventure," and for me (out of many) that was the Miss Peregrine trilogy. #loops
"Men mock the gods until they need them, Kaz. " -Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
BEAUTIFUL boxed set of Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children! I'm so excited to read them - just started today.
"... the thorns are just as much a part of the rose as the petals."
I loved the layout of this book! You can experience this sci-fi through security camera footage, IMs, audio recordings, and many other bits and pieces of futuristic data. Although slightly repetitive and hard to follow due to its setting, this book's high points were thrilling.
This was an adorable and can't-put-down story about a college freshman, her obsession with imitation Harry Potter, and a roommate's boyfriend. Oh, and quite a bit of social anxiety.
