This book was just as cute as the first one!

I read the first Winnie the Pooh book 2 years ago and was obsessed. I am so glad I got around to reading the sequel. It had all the charm of its predecessor. Pooh and all his friends were (still) so adorable. In this story, we are finally introduced to Tigger. Tigger was an absolute delight.

This was an absolute gem to read.
I've never read any Winnie the Pooh books so it was just a fun and relaxing read.
I read a chapter at a time as each one was a short story and I never really knew how sarcastic Owl actually is but this has cemented my love of these characters. Not to mention that Pooh is more than just a rumbly tumbly bear.

Milne gave them such characteristics that it's easy to see why they're so beloved.

Found this older edition in our village‘s little free library. It had some notes of the former owners, mostly some underlined quotes. In general I found the poems as light as a feaver and definitely suited for children. This is a good introduction to poetry.

When the sun
Shines through the leaves of the apple-tree,
When the sun
Makes shadows of the leaves of the apple-tree,
Then I pass
On the grass
From one leaf to another
From one leaf to its brother
Tip-toe, tip-toe!
Here I go!

A charming collection of poems that bring to life the simplicity and whimsy of childhood, perfect for fans of the Hundred Acre Wood.
