We are considering getting chickens! We brought this book with us to lunch to discuss it. But mostly the discussion was, "No chickens in the house" and "No kissing the chickens." THAT'S NO FUN. I squealed a lot at the pictures and alarmed people in the restaurant. That WAS fun. ?

DreesReads I have had chickens for 5 years as of this summer! They are loads of fun, and will destroy your yard (though the drought has helped with that here). I do not allow chickens in the house! 8y

intothehallofbooks We have three chickens: Joan of Arc, Dragon, and Henrietta (named so because of The Raven Cycle) and WE LOVE. They always stay outside and we never kiss them! 8y

Connie Ahh please let me know if you get chicks!! I raised 13 of them when I was a kid. They were surprisingly great pets even in ny! We usually left them outside even at night because of the smell 😅 8y
