Is this weird, just finished reading Housekeeping by Marilynn Robinson and now reading Marlena by Julie Buntin, she mentions "Ruthie and Sylvie in the boat"?
This kind of thing happens to me all the time.
For May we're reading Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson. For such a small book there is so much to talk about.
I just love my quarterly literary box. This one is the best so far. The number of annotations is crazy and he wrote a three page note with illustrations!! 🤓

Question - what books (preferably fiction) should liberal So Cal women read to try to understand the conservatives? The country is so divided right now we all need to consider the other sides perspective.
Looking for suggestions for book club for a Family Novel not necessarily a Family Saga. Something along the lines of The Corrections.
For January, book club is discussing The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Check out my blog http://bookloversnevergotobedalone.net/blog/2016/12/28/a-20th-century-novel-the-...
Our book club is reading a satirical novel in the coming year, I'm looking for suggestions.
Another good one from Micheal Chabon
I'm loving this book. I started it yesterday and have not been able to put it down. I'm currently halfway through.
November's book club pick is The Door by Magda Szabo. Our theme is "a female protagonist of a certain age, 50+"
What I am reading. Enjoying this so far. Love the addition of the graphic novel within the book.
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.”
― from KAFKA ON THE SHORE by Haruki Murakami
Got my Quarterly Box today. I especially love the annotations in The Mothers by the author.
Just finished this, quite a twisting turning ride. I really enjoyed it. It kept me guessing right up until the end.
In regards to best friends after an event puts a distance between them. Loved this.
Thanks, Arsenal Pulp Press for some good looking books to check out. I'm determined to get my book group to read a graphic novel.
I just finished this book. Loved it. It is so true. I could totally picture everyone of the characters. I never literally cry when reading but this one had me shredding real tears.
So excited!! I woke up to this in my inbox this morning. I can't wait to read it. Thank You, NetGalley. And Thank You Random House, I'm really loving you lately.
I've heard good things about this, can't wait to read it! Thanks Random House!
For October my book clubs are reading A Man Called Ove.
Best book I read in September
Thank You, HarperCollins!! So excited to get this today. Can't wait to start it. Hoping it will be a good for book club discussion.
We had a book group discussion today on The Nightingale, two non fiction books came up in the discussion that you may want to explore if you want more about this topic. Irena's Children by Tillar J. Mazzeo and The Lost Airman by Seth Meyerowitz .
#bookishbox I love everything I got in my bookish box this month, especially the earrings and pen/highlighter.
#reccomendsday I loved this book. I've read it twice and discussed it in all 5 of my book groups. Told from the point of view of s young girl growing up in 1960s Chicago with her mother, a singer always yearning for the spotlight. It looks at alternative lifestyles and addresses the question "what makes a family?"
Started this today for my book club next week, hope I can finish in time.
Book Mail! The Bookishly Box comes with tea, bookmark, stationary and a vintage paperback
