Loved this book. One of my favorites of the year so far.

The author did a great job of pacing the novel back and forth through time to tell the story of Ada and David. Ada's character will stay with me for a while.

Couldn't read this book fast enough. I was so interested in the resolution of the mystery behind David's past.

I strongly recommend this book!

I first heard Lindy on the podcast: This American Life. The episode was called "Tell Me I'm Fat." I had to get Shrill after listening to her. I think I am going to be obsessed for a while ❤️.

Reading Small Great Things... Really enjoying it. Picoult does a great job taking multiple characters pov and building a story you can't put down.

I think my chicken wants to read this after I finish it.

Throw back Thursday: one of my favorite books. A bit dated but kind of in a good way. It highlights the 1950s fear of nuclear war and shows a group of people trying to survive after a nuclear attack on USA. There are definitely some 1950s "isms" going on here that show it's age. Still a good read.

Starting "The Fireman" - I've only heard rave reviews. Really looking forward to reading it❤️

I tried.... The beginning was interesting - young woman in the big city, working in a top restaurant. But then it turned into too much "does he like me?" And I didn't like any of the characters.

Love this book - one of my favorites of Knisley's. She and her husband created a wedding was a real representation of their love.

Reading Smile and Persepolis for Reader's Advisory discussion at work. Halfway through Smile and loving it.

I liked but didn't love this book. I kept reading it because I wanted to see how far Judith would go. It is definitely a thriller and Judith is a dark character. For those reasons, it is a page turner. I would not recommend this book for everyone. It is those readers who want to see the dark side

I am finding this book intriguing. Wondering where Judith will end up...

This debut novel shows promise. I liked it but did not love it. It leaned a little too heavily on the Sherlock Holmes foundation. I look forward to the next book in the series. I am hoping it will find more of it's own voice.

Book 13 in the Harry Dresden series. This book flips so many elements of the series - primarily Harry is dead. I liked how Harry has to consider how his actions have affected the world he lives in. Many series lose traction after a while but not this one.

A recent read. I could not put this book down. Loved Hermione's spirit!
