The Empathy Exams: Essays | Leslie Jamison

Feels a lot like pain tourism, but in a way that makes you interrogate your own acts of the same.

Arbol I had mixed feelings about this: her angst over her privilege came off rather privileged in itself and at times was irritating. Overall, though, she makes the reader really think about and evaluate different aspects of empathy. I got a lot out of it. 8y
