Moon Magick
Moon Magick: Myth & Magick, Crafts & Recipes, Rituals & Spells | D. J. Conway
10 posts | 4 read | 5 to read
Each month your energy levels wax and wane just as the Moon does, sometimes urging you to start new projects and other times easing you towards quiet and contemplation. Whether the Moon is making you feel adventurous and productive or dreamy and lethargic, you can use its energy to work for you instead of against you. In this enduring classic, bestselling author D.J. Conway explains how each of the 13 lunar months is directly connected to a different type of seasonal energy flow. With 79 modern Pagan rituals for tapping the Moon's energy and celebrating its phases, you'll improve your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being when you align yourself with the natural strength of the Moon. Moon Magick features a treasury of practical lunar magick and lore: Seasonal recipes, decorations, and crafts Lunar meditations, spells, and lore Moon mythology, correspondences, and symbols Goddesses & Gods and ancient holidays Praise: "A great book. Moon Magick is a wonderful resource . . . a varied and rich collection of lore, recipes, and activities." NEW AGE RETAILER A wealth of magical material which can easily be incorporated into everyday life. CIRCLE NETWORK NEWS An excellent resource for all practitioners. MAGICAL BLEND

It‘s taken me a long time to read this. A word of warning there is a fair bit of cultural appropriation inside and the use of the racist esk*;: work...I realise this book is about 25 years old and if worsting today those things might well be omitted.

Reading has taken me away from some very dark places in life. Reading is a saviour, a knight on horseback.

Pickpick

Not sure if this was a reread or not. I‘ve had this book for a while so I may have read it years ago. This is a great collection of myths, crafts, and recipes. I have used the recipes for pumpkin bread and Irish trifle in the past and both were pretty good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think it‘s close to needing a new offensive mug, this knew losing its paint!

Darklunarose @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks one of my favourites! Just hasn‘t lasted long due to the amount of daily wear and tear. 3y

Camomile tea and a Persian love cake.... Perfect for today's chore if waiting for the eldest child to get their lip pierced. I'm more nervous then she is.

Ruthiella I used to have a nose ring...but I couldn‘t do the lip. No way, no how! 4y
Darklunarose @Ruthiella she has the nose and wants the other side done....now has one side of the lip done...and will get it done again for spider bites. Apparently I was so white my friend who took us is referring to me as Snow White lol! I didn‘t even go in. 4y
Sace Mmm. Looks delicious! 4y
