Havoc was a middle school read a long time ago that I remember liking. Crimes Against Magic I also enjoyed, setting aside my problems with Urban Fantasy.

Beta? I hated it. It was awful, and apparently gets worse. There are terribly triggering scenes that come out of nowhere for no good reason, and then I hear it gets EXTREMELY pro-life with everyone telling the main character she can‘t have an abortion.

MsRadioSilence Apparently because her child is the foretold Chosen One™️, but none of it sat right with me. Avoid at all costs. The tagged book just wasn‘t good, and I‘m glad I got it for free rather than paying for it.

So I saw this at Dollar Tree and thought it sounded interesting. Didn't realize till I got home that it is the 2nd book in a series. 🤨📚😣 Tagged is the first. Ugh. I really have to learn to look books up online before buying them. Anyone else ever do this?
