Day 19 : #tertiarycolors
Tertiary colors are those beautiful colors that are created by mixing colors, burgundy, violet, magenta, teal, and so forth. Surprisingly I don‘t have many books that fall in this category, and the ones I do have I haven‘t read yet haha. I really need to work on reading what I own.

“[F]rom the very start, there is that small streak of steel within. That thing that says ‘I am,‘ and forms the core of personality.

In the second year, the bone hardens....And ‘I am‘ grows.

[T]he hardening spreads from the center, as one finds and fixes the facets of the soul, until ‘I am‘ is set, delicate and detailed as an insect in amber.”

Today‘s #colormepretty is #tertiarycolors!

Havoc was a middle school read a long time ago that I remember liking. Crimes Against Magic I also enjoyed, setting aside my problems with Urban Fantasy.

Beta? I hated it. It was awful, and apparently gets worse. There are terribly triggering scenes that come out of nowhere for no good reason, and then I hear it gets EXTREMELY pro-life with everyone telling the main character she can‘t have an abortion.

MsRadioSilence Apparently because her child is the foretold Chosen One™️, but none of it sat right with me. Avoid at all costs. The tagged book just wasn‘t good, and I‘m glad I got it for free rather than paying for it. 5y

A bunch of beautiful books in #tertiarycolors for #colormepretty day 19! I was determined to get all of them, so the top one is a book I haven‘t even read yet!

Sunraven I so need to re-read Many Waters. I read it so many times as a kid and I‘m not sure I‘ve read it at all as an adult, haha... 5y
