The title is actually The Fixer. Hang onto your hats (or maybe it should be bats) for this thriller. Reporter Nick thinks he hears scurrying in the walls so he and a neighbor break one open only to find something that will bring him life-threatening trouble and possibly the best story of his life.

I enjoyed this suspenseful mystery. A man finds a large amount of money stashed in the walls of his father‘s house. Unfortunately, his father is in a nursing home and hasn‘t spoken in 20 years due to a stroke. Where did the money come from? Who does it belong to? Lots more questions come about as the investigation unfolds. #MountTBR
