I liked the idea of this book, and I was genuinely interested in the “past” sections. But a lot of the characters‘ interactions with each other were so unrealistic and juvenile that it kept pulling me out of the story.
Who HASN‘T wanted to time travel at some point? It just sounds cool! But what would happen if you *did* travel through time and then got caught in a love triangle across centuries? I am probably not going to hit my time this time. I have to take long breaks to work on my house. I fact the plumber (dad) is on his way to put my sink in. Just a few more things and I can put my house on the market. #24in48
so-soI would have probably enjoyed this better if I read the two novels separately...got a bit repetitive reading them together in all honesty. The author does do a nice job with the young women in the story who start to discover a sense of independence.
