pickI‘m so glad I discovered Percival Everett and that I saw this was being retired from Scribd so I could quickly read it. This brilliant epistolary novel sees an aide of Strom Thurmond contacting a publishing house to propose the titular book and Everett and Kincaid getting pulled in as ghostwriters. It‘s wacky and brilliant, funny and skewering of racists. I can‘t wait to read more from Everett.
