This is a funny series really, four books in and you think we'd be starting to know Bond a bit better by now however there's no character development here, Bond is as surface level as he was in book one.
It's been said a million times, these books are a product of their time, women and race are handled very badly. That aside there is something very readable about these books.

Bond books are quick reads and I was not sure what to read so I figured something quick and I can make up my mind tomorrow ;)
Also I ll probably learn more about diamonds from this then anywhere else : I have no clue about cut and all...

Decided to do a James Bond double feature tonight! I'm watching Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker, two of the worst entries in the series (which is funny, as Moonraker at least takes its title from one of Fleming's best 007 novels) because what fun would it be to only watch the good movies?
