I‘m catching up on reviews from Scarathlon and hadn‘t reviewed this one! I really wanted to review it because, oh what 30+ years did for the uptick in knowledge about dinosaurs. In the late 1980s, I took a science class about dinosaurs in college (liberal arts major looking for an easy science grade—it wasn‘t easy…). The professor did his darnedest to convince us that birds are the surviving dinosaurs. We all laughed. And here it is, a book ⬇️

Texreader about the fact the birds are the living descendants of dinosaurs! Needless to say I had a good chuckle but I also enjoyed “re-learning” what I learned 30+ years ago and then some. Not too scientific at all and very interesting. 5mo

Here‘s my review for an Audible podcast just finished listening to. My grandma passed away on November 20, 2021. I‘ve been in a reading slump since then so I‘ve been listening to podcasts because podcasts are the only thing I‘ve been able to focus on but I miss reading a book.

Short, interesting listen :) started a bit boring but it does pick up - I particularly like the bits where they talk about both birds and dinosaurs 💗 overall pretty cool.

Quick but perfect for reliving a childhood fascination.
