Mehso-so

This comic is intriguing, and explores the concept of reality. I felt like it got a little off track towards the end. The ending didn't feel earned because of events that happened which seemed to entirely derail what was going on. #comic #reality #scifi #videogame

I'm only 16 pages into this comic, but the pacing is a bit weird so far and the characterization isn't strong. And I am absolutely imagining the prince as being voiced by Matt Berry in his Disenchamtment role of Prince Merkemer. It's really lievened things up!

Pickpick

A rigid hierarchy that people aren‘t supposed to notice, let alone try to dismantle, underpins both games and “reality” in Self/Made. If those hierarchies are false (and, spoiler, they are) what happens to those trapped in them? At first, I was unsure of this book. The people in the “real world” seemed too bad. But the story evolved in satisfying ways.
