People keep wondering why I refuse to leave my apartment this weekend. With this kind of weather, reading is really the only acceptable activity!

Pickpick

Oh WTForcast, you never fail to amuse.
As for the book, I thought it was good. If you've read many other Garwood books, you know generally how they'll go (bad guy doing bad things, girl in trouble but can take care of herself, hot law man saves the day, cue Cupid) but I don't think it detracted from the story at all. Most of the characters pop up in other books, but I think this one was a stand-along unless I missed something.

It's almost as hot inside as it is outside. I usually turn the air on when the inside temp hits 80 but it's going to cool off again so we're trying to tough it out. But we're all sweaty and sitting in the dark-lol. Thank goodness for backlit ereaders!

sprainedbrain You are stronger than me! I would have turned it on. 😉 8y

Here are a couple of rereads that have tided me through a week of being out sick. Thank goodness I wasn't too sick to read!

I just love Garwood's contemporary romantic suspense.
