I'm enjoying this series 🖤
All of the favorite characters and a few new ones people this scientific murder mystery. A little too slap happy with Latin aphorisms but great fun.

Love this series, although I noticed that the author uses particular words/phrases A LOT and that got a little tiresome.
Sloane & Wrexford return for a 3rd time in this Regency London series to tackle the murder of a friend from Charlotte's past. A past she thought she'd left behind, & only if it's revealed can the murder be solved.
.
Once again I'm enjoying the scientific bent of the mysteries. This one centers on the voltaic piles (an early battery) and its dangers. I do so much like learning new things while being entertained. Quite the best of both worlds.

I read all the previous novels in this series so I was not sure if listening to this next installment on audio would be a positive experience. What I do miss is that there are so many literary allusions & when listening, I cannot note these with out stopping the audio which cannot be done in a car!
LOVE this series! Book three starts and ends strongly with a great cast of both main and supporting characters. New characters are introduced who‘ll return in book four. Can‘t wait!

I am really loving this series! 💕
A real winner, one of the best Regency mysteries I‘ve read in a while. I love the main characters, but the cast of supporting characters is also interesting and quirky. This is the third book in this series, and I think it‘s gotten better with each one. There‘s also an interesting bit of science history here, too. The only problem is that this was released last week, so I have a wait for the next installment.
Another wonderful addition to one of my favorite series. This one finds Wrexford and Charlotte racing against time to save the life of the accused killer, and this one is very personal for Charlotte. While some of the subject matter surrounding the murders is gruesome, it is also interesting and well-researched by the author. 🔽🔽
