I enjoy the author‘s descriptions of clothing very much, and I think that the realistic depiction of the time period is detailed enough to be realistic but not so detailed that it‘s gross.
A selfish prince, a conniving queen, princesses under a spell and a sorceress trying to determine who and what she will be, must find their way out of a sorcerer‘s plan.
5/5 read if you like fairy tale retellings and want a twist to a ballet tale

Okay so this was great EXCEPT for the fact that the hero is a rapey dbag with a half hearted redemption arc. I loved so much about Odile and her journey but Siegfried was awful. This was my #BookSpin pick for July.

I had a really slow reading week and only managed to finish one book. It was a great one though. I've read more this first half of this year than I have in entire previous years so I guess a slowdown was inevitable.

Hopefully I can get more reading done this week and work on my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin before heading into my two #CalibreRoulette picks.
