Nothing finished last week. I did DNF “Leave No Trace“.

Reading the newest Craig Johnson book and loving it so far.

Next up is an ILL loan of Western poetry-really looking forward to this one!

I'm butting up against some due dates that are not renewable, so I need to get through these quickly. Thankfully, those books are fairly short that are coming up.

I think Afia is going to be my favorite read of April. 💙

I am having a hard time sticking to books right now. I think I‘ve read two chapters of each of these and then set them aside. Maybe I‘ll finish something soon! #bookreport #weeklyforecast On a cheerier note, I‘m almost done visiting all 22 of the indie bookstores of the Greater Charlotte Book Crawl and I completed a hard but fun trail half marathon yesterday. 😁

Good week of reading.
William Marshall‘s wife was a bit disappointing.
Thrillers were all entertaining reads.
Tidal Zone was beautifully written.

Only 2 finished last week. I read the tagged book after seeing it recommended on a Parnassus Books video. It sounds like it is a much loved coming of age story. I did enjoy it but didn‘t love it.

I also enjoyed the Pride & Prejudice continuation by McLeod.

ChaoticMissAdventures I am reading this because of that video too! I am only a third of the way in and agree with you, it is okay. 2w
monalyisha I‘m part of the “much-love” camp! 2w
ChaoticMissAdventures @monalyisha did you read it as a youngster? I have this theory on books like this. I feel like if I had read this in my teens/20s I would have gotten so much more out of it. 2w
monalyisha Hmm…late 20‘s. I think I was 27. I was thoroughly charmed. I thought it was quirky and cozy, with a strong setting and thoughtful spiritual ruminations. The movie, on the other hand? Blech. 2w

Litsy wasn't working with me on Sunday and I have an Android-so here's my #WeeklyForecast and #BookReport.

I finished two books last week-I flew through the Sandford novel.

Starting the Landau book today (or tomorrow as I have a short lunch today). This weekend will be “Western Settings“ which is a poetry book set in the American West.
