pickI may not have gotten to it until a month after I was supposed to, but I‘m glad I finally gave up on the library and splurged for the audiobook. I ended up really enjoying the next section of Vi‘s adventure, I wish the ending had been a bit different…but I understand why they ended it the way they did.

pickNot as strong as Phasma was, but still an entertaining read. Dawson knows how to write characters, and for me that often saves a weak plot. I set my heart on Kriki, she's just too adorable! 😍 All in all a nice read, typical Star Wars stuff, which for me isn't something bad. I got what I came for, and had some nice reading hours with this book.

pickThis book was entertaining, a little bit overly dramatic at times but still enjoyable. Vi Moradi and Cardinal (from Phasma) are back and sent by Leia to set up a base for the Resistance on Batuu. Of course that doesn't go smoothly.

pickWow. I didn‘t expect too much from this but it ended up being one of my favorite Star Wars reads of 2019. I love the author and I definitely recommend reading (or listening to, as I did) her book Phasma first. I had no idea they were linked but it was really fantastic to have the back story. Such a great cast of characters here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Got some exciting new books at the library! I want to read more graphic novels this year, and I‘m also planning to visit Galaxy‘s Edge this summer, so time to read up!
My son loves this book and was delighted to see the titular character, Vi Moradi, wandering around Galaxy‘s Edge during our visit. He didn‘t tell us her saw her until after the fact—probably because he knows we would have encouraged him to talk to her which he would have hated—but it definitely brought the book to life in new & unexpected ways.
“At last, some real literature,” my son said when I gave him this book. A couple of chapters in and he declared he wanted to read ALL the Star Wars books. He was undaunted when I told him there were more than a few. 😂 I love having readers in the family!

pickI love Vi Moradi. I don't know how she's still alive, but I'm glad she is. She and Cardinal were so well developed in Phasma. I was really hoping to see their story continued, and this book delivers a wonderful story about a small group on a remote world trying to make a difference. Now waiting for Resistance Reborn to arrive at the library 😁
