Interesting series of essays showing LeGuin was passionate about her art & argues that real-life experiences & the unconscious make an authentic & “real” fantasy/sci-fi novel & she uses Jungian psychology to encourage other authors to look inward (the Self) for inspiration. Also discusses feminism, censorship & pulp novels. The introductions by Susan Wood were pretty dry. I skipped those. 🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶8/10 quills
