pickI am sad to see this series come to end. Overall, I think the author did an excellent job world building — Owens really brings you into this caste filled world. Beautifully done. Additionally, Fie‘s journey in this book is unique and made this a real page turner for me. The only critique I had was the repetitive themes of trust between Fie and Tavin. But the way that this series wrapped up made it well worth my time.

pickI love this duology! The world and the caste system is so interesting and original. I enjoyed every moment in this world of Crows and will likely reread it in the future. This author has become a must read for me and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

I had pre-ordered it months ago, & it was supposed to arrived on the 18th, but Amazon sent it via UPS, so of course it never arrived 🙄 Also, A HAMILTON BOOK!
Who ever is designing Margaret Owen's covers needs a giant raise. These are some of the best covers I have ever seen and this one is perfection. It tops cover 1 which I couldn't stop talking about for months. So ready to own this book.

Book one had a perfect cover. It was just so dang eye catching.
Book 2 said hold my beer i can do better and dang did they. I love everything. The art work, the color pallet. EVERYTHING.
Can't wait to read this series.
