pickIf you like books that are this book, than this is the book for you. So, I was at the part where Greg has to move, because of low scores on a school wide test. But Greg doesn't want to leave, so he tries to convince his family not to. Eventually, he and Rowley say a final goodbye. But, the hot tub being lifted on a crane falls, and destroys the house. The books POV is first person POV, using I or me. This book was good, overall, bur not the best.
pickThis book so far is pretty good, but not the best of the series. The main plot of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball is that the Greg Heffley's family get money from a dead family member, and use it to make-over their house. A theme of the book is change, as the Heffleys want to change their house, and Greg's life changes when he finds out he may move and lose his friend, Rowley. If you like the books in the series, you will like this book.

How I chose this book: I just like to read these books because they keep you interested and it's a continuation of the series.
About the book: The book is about the Heffleys getting money from a relative that past away so they do some home renovations, which was a disaster. So instead they wanted to move but was having troubles getting people to take it off there hands.

Snowball fights in June and plotting to become famous are just some of the ideas they have....which never seem to end well! If you like books filled with humour then this book is for you.
Today The Kid had the opportunity to see #JeffKinney do a live show about his new book, was able to chat with him (briefly), take a pic, and have his copy of Wrecking Ball personalized. Jeff Kinney is an absolute sweetheart who deserves all of the good things that have come to him. It was wonderful to see so many kids in one place, celebrating their love of reading. I do hope Kinney knows the part he plays in that magic. Well done, sir. #WimpyKid
