Enjoying this series immensely - all the allusions to Sherlock, Dickens, Collins, and others of the era. Quite clever.

In my opinion it was too long ☹️ I enjoyed the last 100 Pages a lot, but 300 Pages would have been enough ? BUT I still loved the Story and this special characters ?// Ich fand das Buch zwar zu lang , aber das Ende hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich hoffe das nächste Buch zieht sich nicht so in die Länge weil so vergeht einem ein bisschen der Spaß ?

Sarah83 Ich habe bisher nur das erste gelesen. Ich bin ein ziemlicher Sherlock Fan von daher sind mir andere Ermittler oft ein wenig suspekt und gehen mir in der Nachahmung oft leicht auf die Nerven. Aber ich stehe auch völlig auf schöne Buchausgaben. 😉 Bei den beiden hat sich der Atlantikverlag schon was einfallen lassen. 😉 6y

Marybook @Sarah83 Geht mir ganz genauso ! Sherlock ist der größte für mich und daher bin ich anfällig für solche Bücher ? hoffe immer etwas vergleichbares zu finden ??‍♂️ dann hoffe ich das dir der zweite Band gefällt ? Ja die Bücher sehen sehr schön aus 6y

Sarah83 Ich hab früher schon mal ein paar gelesen. Im Moment lese ich mit dem #agathachristieclub hier jeden Monat ein Buch von ihr in der Reihenfolge, wie die Bücher erschienen sind. Macht richtig Spaß. 😊 6y

Sarah83 Früher definitiv 16.50 Uhr ab Paddington. Ich habe Poirot früher gehasst wegen seiner Arroganz. Inzwischen ist er mir sympathischer. Bin jetzt bei "Die großen Vier". Von denen, die ich jetzt bisher gelesen hab, fand ich "Alibi" am besten. Und bei dir? 6y
