I really liked this one! Of course it had its ups and downs and seemed slightly far fetched at times but it was a decent story! 😊

This was not a typical LJ Shen book, but once I got past my expectations I really liked it. There‘s cheating, abuse, lies and more, but shows how love overcomes and gives strength to get past things life throws at you.
Rory and Mal meet in Ireland when they‘re young, for 24 hours. But they promise if fate brings them together again they will be together. Things come between them, lies hold them apart. But 8 years later they see each other again.
I opted for this book because I needed a book with a heart on the cover for #fancifulfebruary. The premised sounded fun, so I decided to give it a chance (thanks to KindleUnlimited). And wow! I got immediately sucked into Rory and Mal‘s story.
I was initially leery of flashing back and forth between then and now (not always an easy feat to accomplish), but it worked.
And with this book, I got a bingo!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this wee slice of Irish delight and Shen always provides a good read but it felt like at times it maybe had too much going on?
If you're looking for a nice rom that makes you smile and is an easy read... This is the book for you.
If you're looking for a soul shattering, steals your breath kind of read... ehhh maybe not this one.
I seen Irish singer and I downloaded it quickly. That's all I needed to know 😍 honestly, all he had to be was Irish and I would've been happy.
So far it's good. I'm in love with Malachy. He sounds like my cocky Irish dream lol
It's free to read with Kindle Unlimited, too 😁
