Book 3 chosen from my pile of wrapped books. I'm excited for this one. I've really enjoyed books from Christina Lauren before, so I'm hoping they don't let me down.

I'm also excited I took on this challenge of wrapping up some of my TBR because it's helping me get through books that I've owned for a while.

I'm doing a buddy read on this so i couldnt give up. But it took me a good 130 pages to get into the book. Now toward the end, I do like it. It's cute but hard to get past the mental image of Chip and Joanna Gains, 😆 🤣

This book had a more serious storyline than I expected. Maybe it's just because I can relate to Carrie so well. (And yes, I have my own James).

As a Chip & JoAnna Gaines fangirl, I cringed as the character similarities, can can see how it was easy world building for readers.

Enjoyed, but I wished everything was a little more fleshed out.

These ladies always deliver ❤️ I‘m addicted to Fixer Upper and HGTV in general so this one sucked me in real quick! The characters were captivating, the story line intriguing and the ending was sweet #romance #christinalauren
