Currently reading 📖
I've really been loving this series by Lisa Gardner.
Finished my reread of the first Harry Potter book. Fred and George always make me laugh.
My most shelved and least shelved books for the year. At this point, I've read Hunger Games so much I could quote most of it because I've taught it in a middle school reading class for years. For the 24-25 school year, I've moved to teach math, and I'm going to miss watching students fall in love with the story.
My longest and shortest books for the year. I can't wait to continue on with The Expanse series. I also can't wait to binge all the Sarah J. Mass has written because I lived the journey ACOTAR took me on.
#MyYearInBooks
I had a lot of fun this year in reading. I branched into more sci-fi and fantasy. I had my highest average rating so far this year. I'm really pushing to hit 100 books in 2025. 🤞

Doing a little coloring and reading while the power is out with @CoveredInRust . I think she's convinced me to start a Harry Potter reread.. 🙈
I have been loving this manga series. It's basically about a zoo of dinosaurs that hasn't been performing well recently. The zookeepers are trying to take care of the dinosaurs, and help their zoo get back on people's radar. Very educational as well as cute and fun.
The current state of my A to Z challenge right now. I'm currently reading The Kaiju Preservation Society for K. Anyone have any recommendations for the other letters I need?
Thanks!
The first week back to school has drained all my energy and then some. 😴
Spending the day relaxing and reading my first Lisa Gardner book. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I love a good cowboy romance. 🤠 This series has been a 5 star series for me so far!
I am so excited for the next 2 books in the series.
Disney meets serial killers in this cute but creepy story about a serial killer bear who is on the hunt for a different killer who's murdering people in his hometown.
I gave this volume 5 stars. The art style is amazing. The story is creepy and intriguing. I'm very excited to read more from this author and see more from the artist. My husband's really enjoying it, too.

Dnf at 20%. I don't like dnfing books, but this book just isn't for me. I think it's a little too YA. However, I'm still excited to try other books from this author.
Read for ##oneweekoneshelf
This is the next shelf I have spun in my #oneweekoneshelf challenge. Which book should I pick from it?
Leaning toward The Zookeepers Wife or a Marie Benedict maybe... 🤔 Honestly not sure what to choose
This month I started a one week, one shelve challenge to make me start paying attention to books I've been forgetting. I spin a spinner with all my shelves listed on it every Sunday, then read at least one book from that shelve (bonus points if I read more, but that has yet to happen). I've been busy lately, so I'm playing catch-up right now. This is the result of month 1. I still call it a success.

I've had this book on my TBR since it was released. Finally getting around to it now and it's addictive! Fun idea and I'm hooked on seeing what happens.
It's release day for the 3rd installment in The Housemakd series by Freida McFadden! It's avaliable in #KindleUnlimited too.
I've enjoyed the first two books in thus series, so I've already got this one downloaded to my kindle and ready to go.

I read 8 books in February. My favorite book (and only 5 star) of the month was First Lie Wins. ❤️
My biggest disappointment was The Perfect Girlfriend. I love the crazy, obsessive stalker trope but this one just seemed too long and drawn out. After it was over, I didn't understand the point of the story anymore. 🙃

I couldn't find this in the Litsy database but it is definitely a pick.
Have you ever finished a book, loved it, headed over to goodreads to give a 5 star rating, then saw 1 stars as far as the eye can see? Yeah? Well, same. 🤣
I know I'm in the minority here, but I absolutely loved this fake marriage, hockey romance novella. It was so freaking cute. I loved the MMC and FMC and their slow burn romance. I will listen to no criticism, thank you. 🤣
This was such a cute read. Yuuki desperately wants to find her soulmate and Lori is up for the job of helping her out after she was kind to him one night at the club. If you want a cute, giddy romance that'll make you kick your feet in delight, this is the manga for you. I'm excited to read the second one.
Thanks to #netgalley for the read in exchange for an honest review.
Starting this one tonight! First chapter has already hooked me, so I'm excited to see where it goes.
Please ignore my messy bookshelves, but I'm in love with my new ghost friend. I know he was built to be outside, but he just looks so nice in front of my bookshelves!
Currently reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and falling more and more in love with every chapter. 😍
Wow. I was not prepared for this book to be as good as it was. Never expected to tear up reading a manga, but here we are. 😢
Highly recommend. ❤️
This book released yesterday, and I finished it the same day. I had been eagerly awaiting the next book in The Housemaid series, and it did not disappoint!
I'm definitely interested in checking out some of Freida's other books. Any recommendations?
This book is also available on #KU #KindleUnlimited
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The One And Only Ivan has always been a favorite in my classroom, and it is frequently checked out. Recently, I read The One And Only Bob and enjoyed it as well. However, I can confidently say that The One And Only Ruby is my favorite of the series. Did a middle grade story of an elephant make me cry? Sure did.
January was an awful month for reading, but I still managed to finish a few things. I'm hoping the rest of 2023 goes better.

Finished the next book in my #TBRWrappedUp challenge.
I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. It felt thrilling and fun. Also, my first Megan Miranda read, so I'm excited to read more from her.
The next book I unwrapped from my TBR. I've never read a book from this author before, so I'm excited to give her a try.
#TBRWrappedUp
I had a difficult time with this one. While some of the twists were pretty good toward the end, I had a hard time staying interested in the story. It was pretty repetitive and a little slow for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another one off the #TBRWrappedUp shelf. I'll have to unwrap another one later today.
My first read of 2023! This romance series follows a post apocalyptic world where society is trying to survive after an asteroid hits earth. Ive been obsessed with it. Hero is the newest release in the series and while it was enjoyable it would be probably be my least favorite so far. However, if you like romance with walking dead/survival vibes, then I highly recommend checking out the tagged book. It's the first book she released in this world.
I'm playing #BookSpin and #bookspinbingo a little bit differently for the first month of 2023. Normally I list 20 books that I'm interested in and some I've been putting off. However, I've seen people try this method before and wanted to see if it would work better for me. Therefore, I listed one book that I DNF'd this year (only by getting distracted), and prompts to help me reach my reading goals for the new year.
This was my first read from Jasmine Guillory and won't be my last. Reading this book was like reading a hallmark script. Very cute holiday romance between characters over 50 which I appreciated. I found myself a little bored throughout the story, but still think it's a solid 3-4 ⭐️ read.
I read this from my #TBRWrappedUp shelf where I wrapped 22 books off my TBR that I had been overlooking in order to unwrap them and work my way through the pile.
The next book from my #TBRWrappedUp challenge. I have a few Jasmine Guillory books on my shelf but this is the first one I've actually started. I didn't realize that we'd be following a heroine over 50 and I'm so glad we are. It's been a fun story so far for the holiday season.
4 women who have worked for 40 years as assassins for a secret organization are about to celebrate their retirement. However, it seems the killing and adventure never ends. At 60, they have to put their skills to the test once again.
I loved this fun story! It was so unique and a great time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 4 for my #TBRWrappedUp ✅️
On to book 4 from my #TBRWrappedUp stack! Next I unwrapped Killers of a Certain Age. I believe this is the only new release that I wrapped up from my TBR. I knew I'd keep putting it off because I'm currently reading the Veronica Speedwell series from this author, but I'm 50 pages in and loving it so far.
After reading reviews, I think I'm in the minority here, but I LOVED this book. Even more than The Unhoneymooners.
It was such a fun read of two assistants to a reality show home design couple that are not as lovey dovey as they try to portray to the world. The assistants are forced to work together to save the couples image and end up falling for each other.
This was book 3 of my #TBRWrappedUp reading challenge. I'm glad I finally got to it!
Another book that isn't in the Litsy database but unfortunately this one was big thumbs down. 👎
Not a fan of the miscommunication trope and the fact that the couple both mention 10000000 times that they know the other doesn't listen to their voicemails, but then get surprised when voicemails go unheard. 🤦♀️
This book isn't in the Litsy database, but I had to share my new favorite Christmas Novella. This was such a cute friends to lovers story.
Highly recommend! I'll definitely be checking out this author's other works.
Book 3 chosen from my pile of wrapped books. I'm excited for this one. I've really enjoyed books from Christina Lauren before, so I'm hoping they don't let me down.
I'm also excited I took on this challenge of wrapping up some of my TBR because it's helping me get through books that I've owned for a while.
