Please ignore my messy bookshelves, but I'm in love with my new ghost friend. I know he was built to be outside, but he just looks so nice in front of my bookshelves!

Currently reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and falling more and more in love with every chapter. 😍
Wow. I was not prepared for this book to be as good as it was. Never expected to tear up reading a manga, but here we are. 😢
Highly recommend. ❤️
This book released yesterday, and I finished it the same day. I had been eagerly awaiting the next book in The Housemaid series, and it did not disappoint!
I'm definitely interested in checking out some of Freida's other books. Any recommendations?
This book is also available on #KU #KindleUnlimited
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The One And Only Ivan has always been a favorite in my classroom, and it is frequently checked out. Recently, I read The One And Only Bob and enjoyed it as well. However, I can confidently say that The One And Only Ruby is my favorite of the series. Did a middle grade story of an elephant make me cry? Sure did.
January was an awful month for reading, but I still managed to finish a few things. I'm hoping the rest of 2023 goes better.

Finished the next book in my #TBRWrappedUp challenge.
I enjoyed this book more than I expected to. It felt thrilling and fun. Also, my first Megan Miranda read, so I'm excited to read more from her.
The next book I unwrapped from my TBR. I've never read a book from this author before, so I'm excited to give her a try.
#TBRWrappedUp
I had a difficult time with this one. While some of the twists were pretty good toward the end, I had a hard time staying interested in the story. It was pretty repetitive and a little slow for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another one off the #TBRWrappedUp shelf. I'll have to unwrap another one later today.
My first read of 2023! This romance series follows a post apocalyptic world where society is trying to survive after an asteroid hits earth. Ive been obsessed with it. Hero is the newest release in the series and while it was enjoyable it would be probably be my least favorite so far. However, if you like romance with walking dead/survival vibes, then I highly recommend checking out the tagged book. It's the first book she released in this world.
I'm playing #BookSpin and #bookspinbingo a little bit differently for the first month of 2023. Normally I list 20 books that I'm interested in and some I've been putting off. However, I've seen people try this method before and wanted to see if it would work better for me. Therefore, I listed one book that I DNF'd this year (only by getting distracted), and prompts to help me reach my reading goals for the new year.
This was my first read from Jasmine Guillory and won't be my last. Reading this book was like reading a hallmark script. Very cute holiday romance between characters over 50 which I appreciated. I found myself a little bored throughout the story, but still think it's a solid 3-4 ⭐️ read.
I read this from my #TBRWrappedUp shelf where I wrapped 22 books off my TBR that I had been overlooking in order to unwrap them and work my way through the pile.
The next book from my #TBRWrappedUp challenge. I have a few Jasmine Guillory books on my shelf but this is the first one I've actually started. I didn't realize that we'd be following a heroine over 50 and I'm so glad we are. It's been a fun story so far for the holiday season.
4 women who have worked for 40 years as assassins for a secret organization are about to celebrate their retirement. However, it seems the killing and adventure never ends. At 60, they have to put their skills to the test once again.
I loved this fun story! It was so unique and a great time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book 4 for my #TBRWrappedUp ✅️
On to book 4 from my #TBRWrappedUp stack! Next I unwrapped Killers of a Certain Age. I believe this is the only new release that I wrapped up from my TBR. I knew I'd keep putting it off because I'm currently reading the Veronica Speedwell series from this author, but I'm 50 pages in and loving it so far.
After reading reviews, I think I'm in the minority here, but I LOVED this book. Even more than The Unhoneymooners.
It was such a fun read of two assistants to a reality show home design couple that are not as lovey dovey as they try to portray to the world. The assistants are forced to work together to save the couples image and end up falling for each other.
This was book 3 of my #TBRWrappedUp reading challenge. I'm glad I finally got to it!
Another book that isn't in the Litsy database but unfortunately this one was big thumbs down. 👎
Not a fan of the miscommunication trope and the fact that the couple both mention 10000000 times that they know the other doesn't listen to their voicemails, but then get surprised when voicemails go unheard. 🤦♀️
This book isn't in the Litsy database, but I had to share my new favorite Christmas Novella. This was such a cute friends to lovers story.
Highly recommend! I'll definitely be checking out this author's other works.
Book 3 chosen from my pile of wrapped books. I'm excited for this one. I've really enjoyed books from Christina Lauren before, so I'm hoping they don't let me down.
I'm also excited I took on this challenge of wrapping up some of my TBR because it's helping me get through books that I've owned for a while.
#TBRWrappedUp
It's a big ol' no from me, folks.
First fail from my #TBRWrappedUp stack. Praying the next book is a good one because this one made me loose some brain cells.
❄️ Snow days 😂 #teachersoflitsy
❄️ All I want for Christmas is the third book (That works. I'm sure there is some third book I need. Lol)
❄️The tagged one. So excited for it!
#wondrouswednesday @Eggs
I have unwrapped book number two!
I am excited for this one, but often pass it over because reviews can be pretty mixed.
#TBRWrappedUp
Book number one from my #TBRWrappedUp stack was a success. It's a very cute Christmas romance involving a Christmas tree lot. I do wish I read this book when I was younger. However, I think my current students will love it. To the classroom library it goes!
#teachersoflitsy
This was such a great read! I discovered this book through the Goodreads awards and immediately got the audiobook. It's a mix of a Laurie's life growing up and Funny Farm animal stories.
Now, I'm following their Facebook page and love seeing the amazing work they do.
First book chosen from my #TBRWrappedUp ! Perfect for December. I bought this book right when it came out (2016 🙈) and still haven't touched it. I'm excited to be finally reading it.
Instead of playing #bookspinbingo this month, I have wrapped 22 of my books that I've had for a while and want to read but keep overlooking. I'll be randomly picking them out until all are read.
Fingers crossed this goes well. I'm already forgetting what books I picked out. 😅 #TBRWrappedUp #TBR
This was a cute little YA Parent Trap book. Two girls named Sloane Jacob's (one a hockey player and one a figure skater), meet and decided to go to each other's sports camp.
I'm excited to add it to my 7th grade classroom.
This was a great thriller! The ending was one of my favorites. Can't wait to read the second book. Both are in #KindleUnlimited for anyone who has the #ku subscription.
This book gave me everything I could ever want in a romance. Small town. Grumpy/sunshine. Found family. All the feels. I loved this book so much. 😍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also available on #kindleunlimited #ku
My library haul for today! Returned 2 books and picked up 3 🤷♀️ I'm excited for all of these! Which one should I read first?
#libraryhaul
I enjoyed this one pretty well. I liked how the chapters were from different characters. The writing drew me in and made it a quick and easy read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can't even describe how much I love this book and how important I think it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've been playing #bookspin with @TheAromaofBooks since it's 2nd month. However, this is the 1st time I've ever gotten a bingo!! 🎉 My boyfriend always gives me a hard time because I'll read 10 books on the board, but never the ones in a line. 🤷♀️ I also give myself more of a challenge (like I need it 🤣) by checking the free spaces off in order.
I've loved playing #bookspinbingo . I'm grateful that it makes me read some of my physical TBR 🤣
5 ⭐️!
I'd been highly anticipating this for a while and it didn't disappoint!
Claire Kent is quickly becoming a favorite author. This is the 4th book of hers that I've read and loved. Princess is book 2 in Kent's apocalyptic series, but the third book she has written in the world. I'm obsessed with the world she's created and all the couples that have come from it. Mix romance and Walking Dead vibes and you get this series.
What a beautiful story of siblings. It's been a minute since a book made me cry... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

📚 I separate my read and unread, then attempt to organize by genre. Doesn't always work out that way.
📚 Mainly the living room and bedroom, but all over the house really lol
📚 I mainly buy physical, but I love ebooks. Normally, my ebooks were free, library, or KU books. I like both hardcover and paperback.
I don't often pre-order books, but I needed this one from the moment I heard about it. Enemies to lovers. Cassie was going to photograph her friends new lingerie line until the friend asked her to model it instead. Now, they must use a rival photographer, Reid, to get the photo and sparks fly. Plus size rep too. Love to see it.
It releases July 19, so not long to wait.
Shadow of the Batgirl does a great job of introducing a new Batgirl. The messages this book had about being who you wanted to be regardless of your upbringing were fantastic and the found family dynamic was great. This will make this a great addition to my classroom.
This is my first #bookspinbingo free space read for the month. How do you all use free spaces? I make myself check them off in order, so this is #21.
#teachersoflitsy
My list is messy, but this is my official #bookspin and #bookspinbingo list for the month.
I didn't get in as much reading as I hoped too, but these are all the books I read in June.
