A MG novel in verse from the POV of an 11-year-old sexual abuse survivor. Not graphic. Despite the difficult topic, I wish this book was on the shelf of every middle grade classroom so children know they aren‘t alone, they can tell, their confusion, anger, & other emotions are normal and that there will be good things in life again. With 1 in 9 girls & 1 in 53 boys experiencing sexual abuse, there is no reason to hide this topic from kids.
