Macca the Alpaca is a MF book about an alpaca standing up to a llama bully. The theme of this book shows students how the way you treat people will affect how successful you will be. www.mettcosgrovebooks.com has great activities that go with each of his books. There are finger puppets that would be great for RT. #UCFLAE3414SP20

charlotteclancy UDL 8.1- Heighten salience of goals and objectives. This is explained through the book on how you can complete a goal if you try hard enough. EL 31- Write instructions using shorter and less complex sentences when explaining RT. 4y

This F book is a story about how Maca the Alpaca teaches a bully, Harmer the llama, that being the biggest and the strongest doesn‘t make you the best at everything. In the end, Harmer and Maca come to an understanding and hug it out. Students can learn the importance of kindness and never judging a book by its cover from this story. A PR would be great for this story so one student can read Maca and the other can read Harmer.
