💗 Books always any day and every day! However, I love to gaze upon flowers. They definitely brighten every space.

💗 The tagged book is the loveliest of stories about two lonely people finding their way to love. It was such a surprise read for me because it came as a recommendation from a dear friend to try a genre of literature that I had never really considered. I cherish this story!

Day 4 - Best Romance: Years after purchase, this book is still in my book collection. It‘s a paperback with yellowing pages. Does that matter? No. It‘s never going anyplace because I adore this story. The actual storyline has faded from memory, but I remember hoping for the love of two lonely broken souls to flower into existence. I remember longing for a love like theirs. I remember believing in the transformative power of love. #MarchInBooks

CarolynM I read a lot of LaVyrle Spencer's books back in the day. This was a good one. I loved Bittersweet and Hummingbird too 7y

Nute @CarolynM A friend recommended this author to me. I didn't read romance novels. She was determined to change that. LaVyrle Spencer was her favorite author. She had read several books by her. I read this book, and I loved it. This kind of story appeals to me. Wow, did she find a way to reach into my heart, but I never read anything else by her. I was discovering a lot of literature at that time. I never found my way back. I need to rectify that. 7y

Sometimes, because of reading so many books that are just ok, I forget the power of a truly well written book. Lavyrle Spencer is a master at her craft. I had read this book many years ago and liked it, but going back to it now made me realize just how good a writer LS was. From the first few pages, the power of the story and the depth of the characters is evident. I was glued to the book for 2 days. This is a book not to be missed. #osrbc
