

First of all, if you are from south Louisiana, do not listen to the audio. The “Cajun” accents sound more like someone from Mississippi or northern Louisiana. A Cajun accent does not sound like a southern accent. Second, Cajun families did not own plantations. They lived in the swamps and bayous.
