OMG Littens I have stumbled on a goldmine! Hoopla has this Naxos Life and Works series available, and I already know I'm going to listen to each and every one if them (probably multiple times). They feature a concise bio of classical composers and the music they produced. This one in Chopin (possibly my favorite composer) was BRILLIANT. It offered so much insight and having the music peppered throughout is just lovely. Highly, highly recommended.

Eyelit That's awesome! I'm definitely checking that out. I love Chopin, too! 8y
saresmoore I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING EXACTLY LIKE THIS! Thank you! Sorry for the caps, but it's kind of a crazy coincidence. 8y

I've been thinking all day of a new #blameitonlitsy "grievance"--one that I haven't mentioned yet. All I can think of is that, while I've always been an unabashed book nerd, Litsy has just let me really get into it. Like #audiopuzzling tonight. I know *you* get it! Love all you folks for letting us collectively fly our read flags. #marchintorreading

This is an audiobook only- no physical copy. It's definitely worth a listen. Siepmann plays some of Chopin's pieces between sections of the audiobook which really adds something special. Not super in depth, but gives you essentially the highlights of his life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5.
